Gong Xi Fa Cai, Chinese and Filipino friends!

It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog entry, so here I am again, writing what could be written. :p

So anyway, here’s something about my January so far. :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This year’s New Year salubong wasn’t that grand as the past years. I thought it was only in our family but no, almost everyone in our neighborhood didn’t have THAT kind of celebration. BEFORE, I could still remember we have lechon in our table during New Year’s; but THIS YEAR, we only have ham prepared, pancit, and some fruits. When 12 mindnight came, I only ate a few and watched Nikita, since there was a marathon in one of the channels on TV.

The morning after, we went to my brother’s house to have our New Year lunch with some relatives. This time, there was a lechon in the table! Didn’t quite enjoy the lunch though since my father was bursting his anger about some stuff that involved his brother.

Night came, I had dinner with my HS friends. Good times. We went home at around 2AM already. Just full of talks. Reminiscing the moments we had in high school.

I AM SO BACK IN CEBU!

I arrived in Cebu on January 12, just in time for the Sinulog festivities.

On the afternoon of my arrival, me and Bonne went to Kuya Abner’s house to visit him and his little family. I missed his kids sooo much! :D We had dinner at his place, a little chat. And since he already has his playstation 2, Bonne was able to play a few rounds. Aleah, too, was able to show us her expertise in playing Dora the Explorer and Spongebob on PS2.

Bonne and I then went to Fuente circle to take a sneak peak of the displays for Sinulog. Sadly though, the rain poured down heavily. We didn’t had any choice but to stay in McDonald’s Fuente first while waiting for the rain to seize.

KAPAMILYA STARS

Saturday, January 14. Bonne and I were supposed to go to Robinson’s for a little grocery but when we went out of the house, the whole Jones Ave is filled with Sto. Niño devotees for the procession. We didn’t had any choice but to postponed our plans. Charm and Jong, former housemates, then sent me a message telling us that they are in Ayala Center. We immediately followed.

We reached Ayala and BAHM! A sea of humanity welcomed us there. A lot of people where there waiting for the Kapamilya Show to start. So yeah, we are also fanatics so we decided to wait for the stars too! Two hours, yep, that’s how long we’ve waited for a 50-second encounter with the stars.

We had dinner at Charm and Jong’s new house.

On our way home, Bonne and I decided to visit Fuente circle and witness the mini party.

PIT SEÑOR!

SINULOG it is! We were on the streets for N hours watching the grand parade! Charm and Jong followed in the afternoon and we had some awesome time together. We crashed the streets during the parade and took photos with the contingents. After the parade, we decided to have dinner at McDonald’s and head our way to Mango Ave for some drinks. We had a hard time looking for a place to settle though. This year is the best SINULOG experience, so far! The fireworks were really great. Awesome crowd who literally partied on the streets, making a few motorists mad because they can’t access the road too easily. HA!

La La La~

I only applied in Aegis. :D Was profiled for Retail and Banking but don’t have a start date yet coz they are still conducting a background check on me. HEH.
